WITH THEM YOUR IN SAFE HANDS

POWDER SNOW HUNTERS

Naturally curious and creative, 9V guides are reluctant to ski in the footsteps of others. Resourceful, they are always on the lookout for powder snow. They have the gift when it comes to finding the insider tips to ski where no one has yet been.

TECHNICIANS

All 9V guides are UIAGM / IFMGA mountain guides or qualified ski instructors from the National Ski and Mountaineering School of Chamonix. On skis, their priorities are your safety and your enjoyment.

Frequently asked questions:

We have answered a lot of questions that come up very often. Remember to have a look at it 🙂 Thank you!

Do you accept snowboarders?

It is with pleasure that we accept snowboarders when they register for a trip with a group of friends.

On the other hand, we cannot accept an individual snowboarder who wishes to participate in a trip where there are only skiers already registered. Indeed, the difference in trajectories as well as the differences in speed when traversing and on the flat affects the homogeneity of the groups.

For snowboarders wishing to participate in one of our trip, keep an eye on our site, we regularly create 100% snowboard groups which are aimed at individual participants.

Can I participate without ski touring experience?

Ski safaris are ideal holidays for discovering seal skin skiing. Indeed, we only practice sealskin during a short climb from the top of the ski lifts (slackcountry). The main thing is to have a correct physical condition and the desire to have a good time away from the crowds and the tracks.

Can I bring a teenager?

It is quite possible as long as he already has some experience in off-piste skiing.

Soft bags or rigid suitcases?

We advise you to bring a soft travel bag and a soft ski bag. In fact, this type of luggage is easier to pack when traveling by road (minivan in Japan / 4 wheel-drive pick-up truck in North America and South America). This is even more important during a trip based on a boat…
