The purpose of this chart is to determine your technical and physical level. When you register, we will discuss your experience on skis, with guides, your equipment and your physical condition in order to determine your skills and expectations as accurately as possible.
You can trust us to harmonize the groups because there is nothing worse for you and the guides than a group with different levels.
Describe your level and we will put you in the right group.
For each destination we can adapt the itineraries according to the levels of the groups.
NIVEAUX SKI
Level 1
For skiers at ease on the red slope: ideal for families with children.
Level 2
Good downhill skiers wanting to learn about deep snow.
Level 3
Skiers experienced in deep snow going everywhere, but without much style.
Level 4
Expert deep snow skiers who are confident on steep slopes.
TO JOIN A GROUP
A minimum level technique; be able to ski down a bumpy black slope in a series of controlled short turns, except for level 1.
If so, you will have no trouble learning short turns in powder!
If not, don't be discouraged!
Take a few lessons before participating in a trip open to individuals. This will allow you to acquire a good basic technique on groomed slopes and to enjoy deep snow. A technical review is always beneficial... Even the pros do technical refresher courses!
If you are an individual, please mention your level on the registration form to help us create a homogeneous group.
CHECK YOUR PHYSICAL ABILITIES
A minimum condition physique; To be able to perform one of the following tests:
Run 10km in less than an hour.
Cycle 60 km on the road in hilly terrain in three hours.
Climb 1000 m of vertical drop on foot in three hours.
If you are not sure, give it a try! With a little practice anyone can do this. And you will be in great shape for your Safari!
If the above requirements seem too strict, and don't fit your idea of a vacation... Join a Level 1 group, with the relaxed skiers, who have to know how to live!
